Sexual Politics
While sometimes it seems like our politics are more divided than ever, sex maybe the place where we all find unity. This May, xHamster surveyed over 15K random visitors to our site, and asked them to answer a few simple questions about their sexuality, their politics and their spending habits over the past few months.
What did we learn? Well ....
Conservatives Are Conservative … In Bed
Conservatives aren’t lying — they’re the most likely to be married (46.4%) and the most likely to identify as straight (72.3%). Members of Antifa and the Far Left, on the other hand, are the least likely to identify as straight (40.9% and 49.6%, respectively) and the most likely to be in a polyamorous relationship (8.3% and 3.4%, respectively).
Extreme on the Streets, Extreme in the Sheets!
Who has the most sex? Both the Far Right and Antifa are battling it out for the most sexually active. (42.8% of Antifa and 41.2% of the Far Right have sex with a partner several times a week or more). The Apolitical and the Alt-Right report getting laid the least.
When it comes to watching porn, it’s the extremes again. The Alt-Right watches the most (60.7% say once a day or more), but the Far Right (58.8%) and Antifa (58.3%) aren’t far behind! Passion is passion, no matter what your political beliefs!
Pay For Play Politics!
When it comes to paying for their porn, Antifa was the most likely to say they had spent more on porn by a wide margin. Over 45% said they spent more on porn during the shutdown, followed by 34.5% of the Alt-Right and 30.8% of the Far Right.
And when it comes to purchasing power per capita, those three groups were much more likely to report paying for porn in general — whether it was studio sites, clips, or cams.
The data echo similar results from surveys done in 2019. It turns out the more passionate you are about politics, the more you spend on porn. (Or is it vice versa! At xHamster, we’re lovers, not fighters — let alone psychologists!) There are significant differences in what each group watches as well ... but that’s a survey for another time!
